About the Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology and Counseling at the University of Zanjan commenced its activities in 2003 by admitting 32 students in the undergraduate program in psychology with subdisciplne of general psychology in the tuition-free course. Currently, the department accepts students of psychology at the undergraduate level in both tuition-free and tuition-based courses.

At the graduate level, the admission of students in the field of general psychology began in 1388 (2009) and continues until now. Currently, the department of psychology is operating with 7 full time faculty members and more than 158 undergraduate and graduate students.
